Your Journey, Your Stats: Introducing Matches Against Players Not on Tweener

Tweener was built to be your ultimate companion on your racket sports journey—keeping track of your match history, analyzing your progress, and helping you improve. But for that vision to truly work, your data needs to be complete. It doesn’t make sense to have holes in your statistics and match history just because your opponent hasn’t joined the platform yet.

Every bit of sweat on the court and every hard-fought tie-break builds the story of your growth as a player. You shouldn’t lose that data because you ran into a stubborn hitting partner who plays every week but hasn’t downloaded the app yet. Your history is yours, and it shouldn’t have to wait for everyone else to catch up.

How It Works: Seamless and Instant

We designed this feature to fit right into your normal post-match flow. No complex setup required:

Adding a player who is not on Tweener by typing their name

1. Enter the name: When closing the score, if your opponent or partner isn’t on Tweener, simply type their name to add them.
2. Log it normally: Enter the sets and games just like any other match. Since it’s a personal record, there is no need to wait for anyone’s confirmation.
3. Keep your history growing: The match immediately counts toward your playing volume, match history, and personal stats.

📌 A Note on Ratings: To protect the integrity of the platform’s global ranking system, these matches will appear on your profile and feed marked as a Personal Record. They reflect your side of the story—meaning they fully count toward your volume and history, but they leave the rating out.

Full Control Over Your List

You can view and manage all the external players you’ve added by heading over to Profile → Players not on Tweener. From there, you can easily rename an entry if you made a typo. You can also delete a player from your list, but keep in mind that deleting them will also remove the match history associated with them.

Tweener is always better with friends, and when your hitting partners finally decide to join the platform, the global rating system will seamlessly kick in for your next matches together. But until then, your personal data stays intact.
