Now You Can Just Ask: Tweener AI Chat Is Here

· Tweener Team
Tweener AI answering a question about how to beat a moonballer, with step-by-step strategies

You already know Tweener AI. It reads your post-match notes, turns them into coaching recommendations, and scouts your next opponent before you step on court.

Until now, all of that came to you in one direction: the AI wrote, you read.

Now you can talk back.

It arrives already knowing your game

The awkward part of most AI assistants is the setup. You explain who you are, paste in your data, then finally ask your question.

Tweener AI skips all of that. Every conversation starts with your ratings and win-loss records, your recent matches, your standings in any ranking you’re playing, and your upcoming lessons and open plays already in view.

So you can open the chat and ask the way you’d ask a friend who was courtside all season:

  • How am I doing lately?
  • Who should I play next?
  • What’s my head-to-head against Rafael?
  • How many hours did I train last month?

No context, no setup. Just the question.

Four things worth asking about

Coaching and tactics. How to handle a specific opponent, what to do against a slice backhand, what to work on next. It draws on the same notes and recommendations you already have in the AI Hub — so the advice is about your actual game, not tennis in general.

Your numbers, explained. Head-to-heads, rating history over time, match results going back as far as you’ve been logging them. “Am I improving?” is a fair question, and now there’s something that can actually answer it with your data instead of a hunch.

Your real effort. Matches decide your rating, but training is what got you there — and it’s the part nobody tracks well. Ask about your lessons, rallies, solo practice, and imported workouts, and you’ll get real totals: hours on court, sessions by type, and heart-rate data from any workout you’ve brought in from your smartwatch.

Getting back on court. Ask who you should play next and it uses the availability, radius, and level tolerance you already set for Auto-Match. Ask what’s happening nearby and it checks open plays. Ask what’s next and it reads your schedule.

It stays on your side of the net

Two boundaries are deliberate, and worth stating plainly.

It only sees your data. Your ratings, your matches, your notes, your workouts, your schedule. Notes that other players wrote about you are never quoted back to you — they only ever reach you anonymously, blended into coaching advice. And the notes you wrote about opponents are never shown to them. Same rules that have governed Tweener AI from day one.

It only talks about your game. Ask it to write your emails or explain the French Revolution and it will politely steer back to the court. It’s a coach, not a general-purpose chatbot.

Try it

Open the Tweener AI tab and tap “Ask about your game…” at the top. You’ll need app version 4.0.0 or later.

Use it before a match to prep, after one to make sense of what happened, or on a Tuesday night when you’re trying to figure out who’s free this weekend.

It’s early days for the chat, so if an answer misses the mark, tell us — that feedback is what makes the next version better.

Update Tweener now and start the conversation.
